i use the language of camera movement *constantly* in my home games, and it's actually something i've been considering from a design perspective lately there are certain freedoms you give people—GMs especially—when you encourage them to pull the camera out from players sometimes

recording the first episode of the PLANET FIST: West Marshals AP, i realized i was making use of the camera way less than i should. keeping it from PC perspective prevented me from painting visual details in the order i wanted—not just for the audience, but for players!

PLANET FIST: West Marshals once i realized that, i realized it wasn't even that hard to have the camera movement be "in universe" in PLANET FIST, it could be an aerial surveillance drone, or covert footage from an embedded operative, etc. hell, i might make that a GM tool in the post-itchfunder edition!
