The Hurricane of 1938 cut off power to Westerly Hospital & roads were impassable. 74 patients were admitted & the community rallied support by bringing supplies to patients and staff. For 100 years, our commitment to the community has never wavered. Here's to a legacy of healing.

In 1995, Westerly Hospital opened The Center for Ambulatory and Surgical Services. It included 4 new operating rooms, a complete Ambulatory Care Center, a new clinical laboratory & an eight-bed Intensive Care Unit.
