Updated my weapon system to support custom fields that can be added per item (i.e Mag Size, Maximum, # Pellets etc.), that can also be used or shared by other items themselves. Also each weapon now have a unique camera shake + INV smoothing #screenshotsaturday #indiedev #gamedev

Rigging/Skinning models is the one thing I’m completely talentless at doing. I can do everything else to varying degrees, but this one is a total loss. Makes it super frustrating whenever it’s my goal for the day.

Updated the audio for my first enemy type to be more dynamic depending on chasing or not + slightly updated design among other things. Also gave them arms and then tested what happens when I give them a ranged weapon. #screenshotsaturday #indiedev #indiegame

Had a friend blind playtest an early version of my demo. Got lots of feedback, have a few things to fix, but overall I was really happy since a lot of things played out exactly how I was hoping they would. Puzzles, hints, exploration, leading players eyes etc. Nothing too obvious

I’ve been trying to optimize my game as much as possible without upscalers in mind, but I decided to add DLSS to my game today to have it as an option, and the fps has been reduced by 35-50% (yes, reduced), even after it is completely turned off and every option disabled. What?
