Back chanelling questions in Google you could just use Q&A or Chat. But students know the routine is to enter question in a back chanel rather interrupting instruction. Then a student or a teacher moderates those questions throughout the lesson. Moderating is + skill #IDedchat

A6...speaking as a parent here...nowing the routines keeps me from nagging and asking a ton of questions of my sons. This means less stress for all. #IDedchat

A7 text messages seem to reach the most parents. But our teachers are doing it all. Newsletters, websites, email, phone calls, texts, home visits. We have all had to step up our communication efforts. #IDedchat

A few use bitmoji to personalize their space... but most do not...and are confused by the need or idea of doing so. #IDedchat
