Two days still left to go but it would be shortsighted to not thank the staff on this trip...Mr. McGarey, Mr. Inglis and Mr. Taylor have given the boys so much of their time on the rugby field and off and they are truly appreciative.

Mr. Murray has played lots of roles on this tour. He has done a lot of the organisation and communications. He has taken a lot of photographs and he has coached the first XV this fortnight. Great job!

AP and Adam have been invaluable for the boys out here. AP had worked tirelessly analysing video and getting that ready for the lads to learn from. Adam has been very busy throughout from rehab to injury management. Top shift!

Finally, Mr. Oakman the tour manager deserves a huge amount of credit for his organisation while out here. Touring is about adapting to new circumstance and Mr. Oakman has ensured all the boys’ needs are suitably looked after. Great work from all the staff out here.

Last morning in sunny Sydney. Some of the party have gone elsewhere and 38 boys are on the way to the airport. Departure at 3 pm local time. Lads looking forward to their own beds! #BackToGMT

Congratulations to Fin B who was named 1st XV player of the tour and Mack who was named 2nd XV player of the tour. Congrats, too, to Ben J, Ted and Lucas who were voted most improved.

Hugo and Michael deserve special mention for scoring try of the tour and making tackle of the tour respectively. Theo was top scorer. Well done all the players - a fantastic showing on the pitch.

And there we are! Australia 2018 is officially over. Fantastic effort from all the boys and staff. Thanks again to all the support from home and those that travelled. What a great way to kick off the new season!
