May is National Foster Care Month!

In Maryland, ~ 4,000 youth traversing the foster care system annually. Sadly, many have gone from home to home with only the clothes on their back or with belongings stuffed into trash bags. We at Wellpoint are working to change that. 🧵

What’s even more incredible is that Gov. Wes Moore recently signed into law a bill mandating the Dept of Human Services to furnish new luggage to youth in foster care.
