I do not envy the arduous job of one of my neighbours on Windsor Terrace, Mr R Skidmore (54), for he can be seen at all hours transporting his passengers to or from Places of Worship, the Baths, Pavilion or Stands, and to or from any house or place.

The humble potato... If one's energy and vitality has been consumed in recent weeks and is taking its toll on ones eyes, cut two halves of a round slice of raw potato, preferably cold from the pantry, and place one under each eye and leave for 20 minutes.
