Our #waterquality team was busy this week making sure our automated #ISCO samplers are ready to capture snowmelt in our local watercourses to help us understand #phosphorus concentrations and loads in winter months #phosporusphriday #ONFARM

Congratulations The Weisener Lab Chelsea Salter on being awarded this graduate scholarship CIGLR. Chelsea's thesis work is a timely example of GLIER at UWindsor research applied to address real problems in our #GreatLakes. @ScienceUWindsor School of the Environment @ UWindsor uwindsor.ca/dailynews/2021…

Automated water quality sensors are great for real time data! But desensitization by biofouling, particularly in turbid waters, can pose challenges to accurate data collection. Routine upkeep and grab sample confirmations can never hurt! Great publication, Yu-Ting Chen!
