“But won’t lifting in-season make me sore?” No. Continuing to train, in a ‘trained’ state will only enhance your GPP & outputs in sport. Choosing not to train will ‘detrain’ you & decrease your output potential. Properly dosed In-Season training is paramount to performance.

When you sweat, your body uses the electrolytes in your body. To perform you must replenish them. Sports drinks & supplement are good short term but the best way is the food you eat. Fruits & veggies are loaded. Putting a little extra salt on your food will help too.
