Grateful to President Chen Wen-Chang of National Taiwan University for the invitation to share the latest net-zero targets and the importance of green-collar talent development with young friends.

23 years ago, I also stepped onto the stage through an entrepreneurship competition, which encouraged me to pursue my own venture. Today, I want to encourage the next generation to explore their passions—net zero and green technologies are powerful opportunities for the future.

In July, Taiwan was hit by an unprecedented typhoon, damaging 100k+ solar panels at 33 sites. 🌪️ Most were cleared quickly, a few slower with penalties; the last finished on 9/5. Grateful to all who worked hard amid misinformation—next, we’ll review, keep the good & drop the bad.

In July, southern Taiwan faced an unprecedented typhoon making landfall at its center. 🌪️ It damaged 100k+ solar panels across 33 sites. Most operators cleared quickly, a few were slower & fined. The final site was completed on Sept 5. ✅

We have full progress reports & clarification records. During this period, the Ministry of Environment faced an unprecedented flood of misinformation & disinformation. Step by step, we carried the weight forward. 🙏 Grateful to all who worked tirelessly.

Looking ahead, we must review & reflect. A comprehensive assessment is needed — keep what works, eliminate what doesn’t. 🌱 With collective attention & participation, we can build a stronger, more resilient future. 🌏✨

🌍 Net-zero knows no age or profession. Today with Premier Cho at the certificate ceremony for MOENV’s Green Collar Program—graduates ranged from a 17yo student to a 70yo professional. From students to doctors, mechanics & even film editors, nearly 2,000 have joined since April.
