THIS WEEK: Aerial surveys of the #HudsonCanyon area in the #NewYorkBight by NOAA remarkably spotted roughly 10% (35 individuals) of the world’s Critically Endangered North Atlantic right whale population. Also surveyed were fin whales (8) and, not often seen, sei whales (31).
