It's the first day of the fall semester! Welcome to all new students starting their musical journeys with Westminster Conservatory this week, and welcome back to everyone returning!

Congratulations to the winners of the 2024-25 Conservatory Piano Concerto Competition!

Last Saturday, Westminster Community Orchestra director Ruth Ochs gave a workshop about conducting to the students of the Honors Music Program.

Due to the anticipated inclement weather Saturday evening, the Conservatory faculty recital with the Volanti Flute Quartet has been postponed to February 22nd. Stay safe out there!

Last Friday, our piano faculty gathered together to celebrate the 215th birthday of composer Frédéric Chopin. This event was nothing short of spectacular, brimming with beautiful music, storytelling, laughter, a deep sense of camaraderie, and of course, cake!
