Curated by Sandra Davis, the purpose of this project is to promote community conversation about our differences, similarities, and all the attributes that makes us the same. Each chair depicts a story, family connection, heritage, community, health and wellbeing, and more.

Happy Indigenous Peoples' Day! Since 2019, DC has celebrated this holiday to honor the people who are indigenous to this area including the Nacotchtank, or Anacostans. I encourage you to visit the National Museum of the American Indian to learn more about the history and culture of Indigenous people.

In June, WCADC visited Glenstone Museum in Potomac, MD! We enjoyed seeing works by Kara Walker, Ellsworth Kelly, and others. Afterward, we gathered at the cafe to discuss the work seen and enjoy each other’s company. Always inspiring to get together! #art #women
