🏉 1st team Rugby pre-season training takes place Wednesday to Friday this week. From Monday 8th September, students can enjoy a full programme of Sports Practices. Plenty of opportunities to get active and involved! 💪

U18 Hockey, U18 Rugby and U12-U18 Cross Country practices will all start this Thursday, 4:10pm-5:15pm, following on from the conclusion of the charity colour run. All those wishing to take part should bring appropriate kit and equipment.

RUGBY NOTICE: the 1st XV & U15A rugby matches away at Ely this weekend have been CANCELLED - hard ground and lack of grass coverage. 1st XV / 2nd XV & U15s will train at home on Saturday (1st xv pitch) 10.30am-12pm. All other teams still have training as well.

Congratulations to Annabel D (13Ma) who has been named as 1st XI hockey captain for the 2025 season! Annabel is entering her 4th season of 1st XI hockey and we look forward to seeing her leading her team from the front this term, getting underway a week on Saturday v King’s Ely!

Massive thanks to Kettering RFC for hosting our 1st XV rugby team tonight. The annual Richard Brookes trophy match is such an important game for us all. Well done to both sets of players. An excellent game by all! Good luck for the rest of your season.

Well done to our 1st XV rugby team. An amazing 25-5 win tonight v Kettering RFC. Retaining the ‘Richard Brookes Memorial’ trophy. Some fantastic attacking play, with probably the best defensive display from a Wellingborough School team for quite some time!

Our first main block of rugby fixtures this morning. Thanks to Ratcliffe College for some fantastic matches. Excellent wins for our 1st XV, U14A, U13B and U12A teams. Well done to all who played.
