As a batman, facing the new ball in English conditions, you have to know where your offstump is. Shan has demonstrated that very well for Pakistan. Its really a lesson for West Indian batmen. The other important lesson is always try to rotate the strike when the bowling is good.

Very refreshing to see, almost like what happened in the first test with Chase i think and Blackwood. I am sure this left hand right combination is escruciating for the Englishmen
