Job hunting is never smooth sailing and can be overwhelming at times. Here are my top tips to make your job search more manageable and successful:

Determine your strengths and interests. Before starting your job search, consider your strengths, abilities, and interests. This will help you identify the roles and companies that might be a suitable fit for you

Update your CV and online profiles. Ensure that your CV, LinkedIn page, and other online profiles are current and properly reflect your abilities and experience. Emphasise your main accomplishments and tech with which you have worked

Build a network. Contact old colleagues, classmates, and other industry professionals. Participate in networking events and online communities. Developing a strong professional network will assist you in learning about new prospects and connecting with possible employers

Prepare for technical interviews: Technical interviews are used as part of the employment process by many tech companies. Coding challenges, algorithms, and data structures should all be practised. Brush up on any programming languages and technologies required for the position

But most importantly... work with a recruiter! Never underestimate the value a specialised recruiter can bring to your job search. #interviewing #softwareengineer
