Winter Wonderland Day + board games = a fun way to end the week! Some students learned to play D & D while others played checkers on a very cool board.

Today our future electricians constructed series and parallel circuits, and learned what happened to each when they unscrewed a bulb. #scienceisfun

Today we had a wonderful time reading to our kindergarten friends in our PJ’s/cozy clothes.

In social studies we took a trip across Canada to learn about our beautiful country.

Our electrical devices are coming together. We’ve got board games, an ice rink, a train, and more! Stay tuned for the finished projects.

Dress Like a Family Member/Friend/Staff member Day was a hit! We had Mrs. Watters and Mr. Coups lookalikes, dads, moms, friends, and more.

Students had lots of fun skating today.

Friday is Bring a Board Game Day!

The Saidat Show visited UTES today with their message about social responsibility and empathy. Students and staff got to show off some pretty awesome dance moves too.

Thank you Janice Danen for teaching us about biodigesters today. We learned a lot about technology on farms, and students were very curious about dairy farming as well.

Today we learned how astronauts sleep, eat, and brush their teeth in space through some very fun & informative talk shows.

Our genius hour presentations have included how to crochet a small blanket, how to build a fishing pole, filleting a fish, and chainsaw safety.
