A great day to talk about water at the Ohio State Fair! The Ohio Water Partnership & Ohio Craft Beer hosted Hydro, Hops & Harvest, an Ohio Beer & Water Trivia Tour for the members of the Ohio House & Senate Joint Agriculture Committee. Great to have so many friends join us.

The Cuyahoga River is a symbol of both our progress and our opportunities with water quality here in Ohio. Today we take a major step forward in restoring this river to its healthy, natural, free-flowing state, which is something that hasn’t happened in more than 100 years.

This is wild! People should know, Lake Erie's western basin is so shallow that heavy west winds, can literally blow the water out of the basin. Having said that, despite how shallow it is, Lake Erie contains HALF of all fish in the Great Lakes.
