Fresh off the press, our story about the mysterious "sleeping beauty" transporters! Thank you for this great collaboration in Newcastle! mBio Jörg Stülke Uni Göttingen
In this work, @warnekerobert uncovers pathways of C3 amino acid uptake and export from Bacillus subtilis. Importantly, the work identifies AexA, the first sleeping beauty amino acid exporter. Jörg Stülke #mBio journals.asm.org/doi/10.1128/mb…
A little appetizer for the new story of Robert Warneke (inactive) ! Discovery of a novel metabolite! Stay tuned! Uni Göttingen #bacillus #subtilis
I am deeply moved and unwhelmingly happy to share with you that I successfully defended my thesis this week! Thank you Jörg Stülke for this wonderful time and all of your support. Uni Göttingen
I was generously gifted by Molecular Microbiology & sons! Never been a fan of the iPhone but the fresh new look is really convincing. Thank you 💯😂 Jörg Stülke
🫵 Please contact us if you would like to do a postdoc at the University of Uni Hohenheim with the most beautiful campus in Germany! You may develop your own research topic in microbial metabolism, herbicide resistance, second messenger signaling & bacteriophages! #Subtiwiki
Read the new story of Robert Warneke (inactive) on coenzyme A biosynthesis in Bacillus subtilis and the identification of a novel metabolite, cysteinopantetheine! Excellent collaboration with Christoph Elfmann @IFeussner and teams! mBio Uni Göttingen #subtiwiki journals.asm.org/doi/10.1128/mb…
Robert Warneke (inactive) et al. from Uni Göttingen have elucidated vitamin B5 and coenzyme A biosyntheses in Bacillus subtilis. They have identified cysteinopantetheine, a novel hybrid metabolite that can fuel a salvage route to CoA. Jörg Stülke #mBio journals.asm.org/doi/10.1128/mb…
Grateful that we could contribute to this amazing work from the Rappsilber laboratory with Robert Warneke (inactive) and other team members! Read about new ways for protein structure prediction by integrating AI and experimental results! #subtiwiki Nature Communications nature.com/articles/s4146…
Proudly announcing the early release of SubtiWiki v5 (subtiwiki.uni-goettingen.de)! It has many new features which we hope you'll like. It also still might have some bugs / missing data, so please don't hesitate to let us know! #subtiwiki #bacillus #subtilis @IMPRS_GS Jörg Stülke
Thank you Jörg Stülke for your excellent supervision! I am very honoured and happy about this wonderful award.
