#DrivingWhileBlack This has been my problem with the Metropolitan Police statements last week They continue to intimidate and harrass Black communities, but when we try and challenge them, it will get us ARRESTED! Solidarity with Joel, who does amazing work with young people

TW: death, suicide. This is heartbreaking. We need an overhaul of the benefits system. Sick and disabled people should be believed and not forced into work. Job seekers allowance should not be so low people starve to death. How can this be allowed to happen?

The decrease in UC will mean people choosing between heating and eating this winter. But this MP cares more about the lifestyles of those already earning £81,932. When we have such vast inequality the people at the top can't imagine how much difference that £20 would make.

As women are paid less than men on average, from today until the end of the year, they effectively work for free. Not asking job applicants for salary history is a great idea to help level the playing field. #EqualPayDay theguardian.com/society/2021/n…

We have created a situation in this country and across Europe where we leave desperate people with no alternative but to turn to ruthless people in order to try to get to a place of safety. This Nationality and Borders Bill is disgraceful.

Well done to the Wandsworth Foodbank for the amazing work they do! In a fair society we wouldn't need foodbanks, but right now they are vital. Use of foodbanks has doubled compared to before the pandemic as poverty and inequality has increased.
