Yup. I’ll listen to and support the Doctors - not Simeon Brown - who is already starting to privatise our health system. So much for being a government for all NZers.

Prevention is always better than cure? So why as part of upcoming #austeritybudget is #NZ Govt cutting spending on programme that aims to prevent the need for people to end up in emergency housing? Makes no sense financially or morally. Par for the course? rnz.co.nz/news/national/…

I cannot condemn in strong enough terms the National-led government's use of urgency in the House to retrospectively invalidate 33 existing pay equity claims. In my view it amounts to constitutional abuse of the legislative process. We deserve better.

Labour's Tangi Utikere told RNZ additional costs associated with the cancellation of iReX would cost $1.16b when including the cancellation of the deal and ongoing maintenance of the current ferries. He said the decision to cancel iReX was reckless. rnz.co.nz/news/national/…

Here are the workers who are losing future pay rises, because the government can't balance their books. The one thing they overwhelmingly have in common these jobs are predominately occupied by women. But Brooke van Velden reckon she's on women's side?

Omg this is simply a corrupt govt. I didn't expect much from govt ministers who are cigarette and gun lobbyists, but this alcohol story sets a new low bar. How can this not be illegal? Is nothing a conflict of interest? rnz.co.nz/news/political…

“Karma is a bitch, and she votes” From Auckland to Invercargill, crowds braved the rain today to express their anger at changes made to the Equal Pay Act, gathering outside the mostly empty electorate offices of MPs and Ministers. Our tone deaf Prime Minister Christopher Luxon

Liquid Times I’ll take the price they charge consumers overseas. That’s almost always cheaper than what we pay for NZ products in NZ.

Luxon promised his government would lower the age of bowel cancer screening to match Australia’s age, which is 45. He lied. Earlier this year, his Government announced it would lower the screening age - but only from 60 to 58.

Nicola Willis has borrowed more than the Labour govt she criticises so vociferously. The worst finance minister since Ruth Richardson. Nicola Willis
