Bestiaries were popular in the Middle Ages and not only provided images of creatures - both real and mythical- but a moral lesson about each one.
Anne Boleyn died #onthisday in 1536.
The second wife of Henry VIII, Anne was crowned in the Abbey in 1533 with celebrations taking place over four days. None of Henry's later wives had a coronation. She was executed three years later.

Henry III was crowned #onthisday in 1220.
A hasty coronation was first held at Gloucester Abbey in 1216 due to the uncertain political situation at the time. Henry was later crowned again with full ceremonial in Westminster Abbey in 1220.
