In the summer doldrums on VHF. 6 meters-feeble for the last two days.

Wonder why someone didn’t buy MFJ? Obvious cash flow…maybe too many product lines. I would think that Martin would like to cash out on an asset.

The CQ Worldwide VHF contest was sparse on conditions. 6 meter openings were short. Only “worldwide” contacts were with VE stations.

Interesting—Social Security is paid for by payroll taxes and then people are taxed again when they begin to collect benefits!
