Part 1 of 2: "Seven and a Half (15/8)" is a solo I recorded in tribute to my friend Neil Peart for the 2020 Modern Drummer Festival. Counting Seven and a Half beats is a South Indian concept is an easy way to count 15/8. The entire solo is in 15, a mix of composition & improv.
