Woodchuck Hollow Rd in the town of Washington, VT is currently closed for an active incident from the area of West Corinth Rd east bound headed out of the village of Washington. Commuters and residents are asked to seek alternate routes until further notice.

This afternoon (April 2) the Vermont Agency of Transportation opened a temporary bridge for VT 14 traffic to cross the Winooski River in the village of East Montpelier. The temporary bridge will remain in use until the re-construction of a new bridge completed in 2018.

April 1st marks the end of Vermont’s winter manure spreading ban for non-frequently flooded fields in Vermont, but with another cold and wet spring bringing adverse field conditions to most of Vermont, the Vermont Agency of Agriculture.

Montpelier Transportation Projects NO DETOUR Week of 4/16/18- All of Northfield Street will remain open and the planned detour will not be in place this week. The detour using Dog River Road has been rescheduled to start on Monday, April 23, 2018.

Ryegate Closure Begins Today after 10 AM I-91 SB will be closed from Exit 18 (Barnet) to Exit 17 (Newbury) beginning Monday, 4/16, after 10 AM due to icy weather conditions. Follow detour signs via Bismon Drive, US RT 5 and 302. The closure planned to last for 3-weeks
