What a fantastic kickoff to #StartWithHelloWeek in Valhalla! Second graders introducing themselves to our awesome Kindergartners and providing assistance with computer logins. Such a great way to foster connections and ensure everyone feels included!

The 2nd graders coded their own Flappy Bird Games on Code.org and built kid friendly game controllers using MakeyMakey Go. Some lucky kindergarten students got to demo their games and controllers. #HourOfCode #makeymakey

Many Valhalla families are still without power. ConEd will be providing a status update tomorrow. There are many trees to clear and downed wires to fix before they can restore service. Look out for neighbors and stay warm.

I expect to talk with authorities this morning to get a more definitive timeframe for power restoration. Keep posted for a possible school closing announcement.
