Lots of halloween masks & colouring today in the cafe. Lovely to see lots of children get creative. Crafts out tomorrow & Thursday 9-2. We still have some brand new costumes for sale now only £3 come and grab a bargain. While there we have lots of delicious cakes as well!

We're having lots of fun at our first Messy Play session during Half term week. Sally from Grow Eastbourne is also here with an 'Exploring Food' session. Why not have a slice of cake to eat in our Cafe. Don't forget we also have plenty of Halloween Costumes for only £3 each.

Exciting news! We had an assessment visit yesterday morning for the Queens Award for Voluntary Service. It’s a long assessment process with a lot of competition, but we are very pleased to have been nominated and proud to have got this far.

With #COP26 at an end it’s now over to all of us to make a difference. Thanks to the #TogetherForOurPlanet #NationalLottery fund we will be setting up an environmental action hub at Langney Community Centre with lots of events, resources and (most importantly) action.

We have a winner of the 'guess the weight of the pumpkin' who will receive a chocolate advent calendar, gift certificate to the Langney Community Cafe and the pumpkin!

Volunteers needed for our community fridge (two to four hours per week). Help us stock shelves & interact with customers at the Larder on Mondays & Tuesdays, &/or pick up food supplies from local supermarkets (usually Sun mornings Email us at [email protected]

Lots of beautiful fresh produce at the community fridge -- cauliflower, broccoli, blueberries, potatoes, lettuce, peppers, and plenty of pumpkins for some festive meals. Come by tomorrow (Tuesday) between 10am and noon and get up to 10 items for £2. #Langney #CommunityFridge

FYI, we're open and happy to accept any food donations at the Larder. There's always a need for more so if you're able to help by dropping off some food items (in date), we'd love to have them. (Monday between 11 and noon or Tuesday between 11 and noon would be best times).
