My guardian enters this murky fray of cat and mouse, hunting for a spectre that may or may not even exist. But there's no stopping her now. I must accept that Hilde has issued her challenge in the pages of my newspaper, and it won't go unanswered by my pursuer.

Hilde doesn't seem to be in the palace this morning. I assume she's gone out on one of her "investigative rounds" on my behalf. She's more uptight about this mystery than me. I do hope that she gets the intelligence she wants.

Who's close enough to me to be able to manipulate our suspicions and fears about Arendelle's ancient nobles, yet hidden enough to misdirect even Hilde? My frustration at this foe's cunning has long exceeded any woe I felt about their animosity. We must catch them.
