( leaning against 𝖽𝖺𝗇𝗇𝗒 𝗃𝗈𝗁𝗇𝗌𝗈𝗇.. ) missed you.

( frame shifts closer, smile spreading across his face. ) i won’t disappear like that anymore. i shouldn’t.

( promptly running his fingers through danny’s hair, pulling him closer. ) still, i’m sorry.

( a light tug upon 𝖽𝖺𝗇𝗇𝗒 𝗃𝗈𝗁𝗇𝗌𝗈𝗇.’s sleeve, a soft clear of the throat following. ) darling.

a slight raise of the brow. this feels like home again, in some odd way. “i missed you.” he murmurs.

“away. not pleasant, but i’m back. that’s what matters.” it’s evident that he’d rather not go into it too much, though despite his notable lack of composure, he seems content.

visible confusion, but he won’t question it. he’s immediately cradling the canine. “where’d you get this?”

cue arms wrapping delicately around hiatus’s frame. “benny,” his voice maintains this soft tone, hint of a smile tugging upon his lips.

“that’s a new one.” though it’s not unwelcome, admittedly. a kiss is promptly pressed to benedict’s temple. “are you doing alright?”

arm slips around danny, kiss pressed to his temple.

“i missed you too. it’s nice to hold you again, actually.”

“as usual. have you been holding up alright while i dealt with that?” leaning into his touch, gaze still completely and utterly filled with adoration.

“are you alright?” his voice is a hushed whisper, arms wrapped around his waist.

maybe kissing danny back.

disgruntled sigh. “yes?”

“i would have, but i’ve tragically been in and out. apologies, though.” a sheepish grin spreads across his face. “i’m here now, at least.”

a light huff, eyes rolling. such a gesture reminds him far too much of his grandmother, really. “what’re you doing?” a brief question, pout formed on his lips. in some regard, the feeling is mutual. there’s always some enjoyment in being around frank.
