🌳🌳🌳 On 19th June, the Kwale County Tree Planting Event took place at the Bodo Mangrove Forest Area, with active participation from our Papariko project team. Despite the rainy and cold weather, the event was quite a success and united the communities of several villages. 🤝

The communities working with us on the Papariko Mangrove Project in Kenya are Muslims. Recently, they observed a major milestone in their religious calendar, Idul Adha. 🤝 Check out the heartwarming moments captured in Funzi, Munje, and Bodo as our team distributes foodstuffs.

The weather was not very favorable for planting this May and June in #Kenya, with heavy rainfalls and tropical storm Laly making field work dangerous or totally impossible, but the Papariko #mangrove project team sees an opportunity to continue planting in July.
