A Polo GTI is supposed to run on 95 fuel, their argument is lazy. 93 is more likely to cause damage to a GTI than 95. But yes, unless these cars have faulty plugs, there has been contaminated fuel doing rounds at various gas stations apparently

Jobs a similar incident happened to me 2023 August. They drained the fuel and changed spark plugs. I then started using 93 octane fuel. Now I’m back to that same situation with my Polo Vivo 2021 model. Its jerking on 3rd gear again and I only used 93 octane fuel
