The Gender, Peace & Security Program of African Union Political Affairs Peace and Security, in collaboration w/ United Nations Office to the African Union - UNOAU and African First Ladies concluded a three-day capacity-building training for women #CSOs. The training aimed to enhance women's meaningful participation in electoral processes, held from 18-20 June, in Nairobi, 🇰🇪

Participants gained insights into the electoral cycle from a #gender perspective, key issues needing attention in each cycle, and improved their capacity in voter education, civic participation, election monitoring, and advocacy.
