"A victor should be able to use it." Tilting his head slightly he gave a shrug.

Relief fell over him from not being needed to continue reading the same stories over and over.

"I'm sure your brother would love to recite them an' will probably do a better job at makin' up the voices."

Chuckling softly, he wonders if Carl had agreed to this. "Five, huh? Well I hope you'll have enough books. If not, I'll be sure to look for more."

Seeing the book struggle to be lifted he helped his youngest and relieved her of the book. "It sure is." He weighed the hefty literature in one hand with a smile. "How 'bout I read the first story? To help Carl out an' get you started."

"I'd advise you not to take any road where you can attract others or walkers to us." Rick being the serious type doesn't understand that this could be said in jest.

Embarrassed by his assumption Rick nods. "That uh...yeah, I knew that."

Not wanting a repeat of his last mistake to deny his daughter a game of uno. He quickly sits across from Judith and crosses his legs. "Alright, alrigh', little miss bossy." He drops a yellow seven card onto the ground.

A dry chuckle came from the father as he heard her wage. "Well I hope y o u enjoy it." His smile dropped as he looked at his hand. A bad combination of mixed colors and low numbers, he hesitates to draw from the deck but picks up a yellow after a few blues.

"It ain't over yet." Rick grabbed another card from the deck, a smile played upon his lips as he dropped a '+4' card. "Don't count your chickens before they hatch, Judy."
