'Modi still attacks Congress when he goes abroad. Rahul Gandhi is now following his lead' vir sanghvi writes in his column #SharpEdge #ThePrintOpinion theprint.in/opinion/modi-s…
“In 2015, Prime Minister Modi declared in Germany that he would clean up the “mess left behind” by his Congress opponents. In Canada, he said that India’s image was one of ‘scams’. But he would change it so that India was regarded as a ‘skilled nation.’” vir sanghvi
"Modi may now be the only man in Indian history to have attacked his political rivals in over 50 different countries." Modi has taken the attacks on previous Govts global, and RG is paying back in the same coin. Another balanced piece by vir sanghvi
vir sanghvi Thanks for calling this out. Such is the weaponisation of the media that no one seems to even register this fact
‘Modi may now be the only man in Indian history to have attacked his political rivals in over 50 different countries. (Or more: he has made 79 trips as Prime Minister and visited 70 countries.)’ vir sanghvi well observed!
You reap what you sow. vir sanghvi has more than a point here. He cites several instances when the PM has done what RaGa is accused of doing now...
vir sanghvi Perfectly said by Vir. When Modi bashes India abroad, only a handful from the Congress criticises it. But, when Rahul Gandhi does it, it becomes a contest in BJP to attack him on frivolous ground.
#Modi has broken many conventions for worst. But his idiot IT cell & ministers are proving a boon for Rahul Gandhi, particularly after his #BJY. They've kept him politically relevant & keeping him in news on even godi media. This is what Cong & media done to Modi when he was CM.
When the demands of tourism come up against concerns about the environment & the interests of locals Well researched Hindustan Times series on why all governments have previously refused to turn Lakshwadeep into a tourist hub. Could this change? hindustantimes.com/india-news/eco…
Unpopular but sensible view Swati! Swati Chaturvedi
Only Vikas Khanna would have the big heart & grace to do this.
