The longer conversations last with your child, the more opportunities they have to learn and build their communication! A great way to keep conversations going is to make comments that are based on what your child has communicated about at that very moment.

Having seen this in action, person-centred planning can be one of the few equitable practices for young people who require alternative and individualised pathways.
