We’re heartbroken to share the news of our dear friend and fellow champion for inclusive play, Jim Vollmer. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Jim’s family and friends. ❤️

Deeply saddened by the loss of my friend Jim Vollmer. A great man and true champion for inclusive play. Jim passed away Friday, 5 years to the day of the dedication of Jake’s Field of Dreams, named after his son, who was a huge Blues and Cards fan and wanted to be a broadcaster.

Jim was a driving force behind the growth of Unlimited Play Inc . His passion for inclusive play was part of the inspiration to create Very Inclusive Play Playgrounds Canada to build truly inclusive playgrounds in Canada. We’re going to miss him a lot, but we will honour his legacy by continuing his work.
