USPS language to ban mailing of vapor products is INCLUDED in the omnibus bill. We get 600 bucks and vapers get fucked again.... Not sure when effective date is, it's a bit confusing

Buried on p5136 of the COVID-19 stimulus package: The ‘‘Preventing Online Sales of E-Cigarettes to Children Act’’. It bans USPS from delivering e-cigs or any of their components (eg liquids). Not clear who inserted this, nor how it would provide a Covid-related stimulus.

I might be pissed off, but I’m far from throwing in the towel. #vaping will win. #science WILL win. I’ll pout today, then come back at it refreshed and ready to discredit the myth making machine tomorrow.

Golly🤔 I wonder if there’s a way to safely help people quit smoking? I would have sworn with all the trust I have in big pharma (especially these days with all the noble work they’ve been doing with vaccines for the good of the people.) this could never have happened.

Perhaps even more importantly the 2020 disposable use by current youth users was 26.5% (up from 2.4% in 2019). The 2021 data on youth disposable use is 53.7% among youth users. Strong evidence open system products aren’t the issue with teens. A fact the FDA ignores.

The FDA has spent the past month banning the vapor products that their own data shows had nothing to do with the youth use/experimentation “crisis.” While leaving products on the market that teens do actually use. 🤔🤔
