Can anyone enlighten me about the reasoning behind keeping non-NET fellowship amounts fixed? It was Rs 8K in 2006 when NET etc fellowship was Rs 12K. Now 19 years later, NET fellowship is Rs 31K, while non-NET is still Rs 8K. It is well below legal minimum wage in most states.
