1/ A few weeks ago I did a survey and more than 50% of responders said that they had lost money due to a mistake in entering public keys. With Kadena you can do what I call a Safe Transfer which makes it impossible to lose coins. Here's how they work...x.com/KadenaDirEng/s…

Edgar I completely agree with you with one additional qualifier. Sharded PoS is going to have a tough time scaling. PoW on the other hand can be sharded without having a privileged shard.

Am I the only one concerned with the cognitive dissonance between "gas usage leads to mcap increase" and "network scalability"? The mechanisms seem to be either: gas being burned (deflationary -> higher coin price) or charged (staking collects the gas).

DAG designs, distributed hash tables, UTXO-based, atomic composability all fall apart with this simple test. The single hardest part of any distributed system is moving data around to where it's needed. \8

.k:Will is this what you were talking about when you said that Dev on L2 is much more involved than Dev on L1? Is it going to stay like this forever? In other words, Is it over for L2? x.com/ercwl/status/1…

4/ I don't criticize people for making mistakes. I criticize the collective for being satisfied with the status quo and not demanding more. We need to relentlessly search for ways to eliminate as many sources of error as we possibly can.

Complexity is an often overlooked aspect of a system because usually someone else is paying the price for it, not the person creating it. But don't be mistaken, someone *is* paying the price - whether money, time or mental capacity. They might not be willing/able to do forever.

Dark Angel ⛓🕸 @shotsbymatta Kadena KDA token economics avoids having miners (who want rewards) and users (who want low fees) fighting over the definition of "low fees". The protocol (ie block reward) should fund the network's operation, not the user-driven fees. How? Have the rewards last over a century.

Very glad to see Coinbase remaining on the bleeding edge of decentralisation, pioneering continued trustless technology adoption by listing rugged, dead shitcoins over a year after they died 💪💪 Proud to work in an industry as innovative and agile as ours 🙌

The global financial system runs on human consensus. That's how we got to where we are now. Using physics/energy (proof of work) to come to consensus is an innovation. It should be explored. Using human opinions (proof of stake) to come to a consensus is to repeat.

If only their was s solution to this, it could be called chainweb, that's a cool name. It's really a shame that there is none.

timbeiko.eth Sreeram Kannan It's interesting that there has been so much attention and backlash on PoW environmental impact While impact from AI compute is going to be order of magnitude greater and growing at exponential rate for the foreseeable future, yet almost no one seems to care

What none of you seem to understand is that the general public isn’t overly enthusiastic about complex consensus puzzles anymore. There are neural nets that approximate human thought these days. ZK has been an amazing flag-bearer for the techno-revolution of the 2020s but today

To this day on Kadena $KDA, there are more coins dumped by VCs and the team then all mined coins combined. It was a scam all along. They never planned on staying long term, the original platform emission were supposed to stop in 2026 just a few months from now.

Three incidents in eleven days. The collapse of Kadena exposed the quiet decay beneath the Wall Street polish - mismanagement, missed signals, and a runway that vanished before anyone noticed the lights were out. Story below.

Do not be fooled by $KDA CTO. The tech is literal garbage - Multi-chain is unusable - Kadena themselves never released a working multi-chain DAPP - It doesn't have 20 chains, it has 1 split into 20 segregated islands - Over 95% of deployed contracts were hacked - Even the
