I've ridden my bike on Eastlake Ave for years. It's miserable. The idea that "Eastlake is a neighborhood not a corridor" being touted here misses the point that EVERY street is inherently both those things.

No problem Sara Nelson we've got you covered! Here's how you indicated support for Rapid Ride J, including protected bike lanes along Eastlake, in the 2021 endorsement questions:

Hey Sara Nelson we appreciated riding with you along West Marginal Way last year and think it proved useful. How about we get together again and ride Eastlake Ave to explore bike safety issues along the way?

Wow, that's a statistic I had not heard before: Half of all people who are killed walking in Seattle are run over on major truck routes.

Q: What's your favorite King County trail? A: All of them! Whichever trail's your most beloved, odds are it's been built or maintained via King County parks Levy dollars. That's why speaking up for trails is critical as the next Parks Levy takes shape. rb.gy/cx0g4f

~40 bikes rolling onto the peak pm Bainbridge Washington State Ferries today reminds me that if you build a bike network people will use it! Also, best seat in the house; first on, first off. Biking is awesome!
