Why would any sensible country smother their best quality land for food production in tarmac and concrete when it has plenty of low quality land it could use? Top soil takes Mother Nature about 100 years per inch to make! This top soil is some 24+inches deep and very scarce!

Why talk houses rather than homes? At Expo 2020 brilliant ideas, cargo pods, multi-directional lifts etc., for higher quality of urban life in new towns and not expanding old towns with old ideas. UK let’s catch up quickly. Eventually will need to refurbish parts of old towns.

BofE warning of a food crisis is fairly obvious to most of us so how long will it take parliament to act to protect our agricultural land from development destruction? This is a good test of our current political situation.

Interesting to see this information in a visual format. East Kent is losing a significant amount of grade1 farmland to new housing developments, but also has a higher proportion of empty homes & second homes.

Housing Crisis/Food Crisis. Once again Michael Gove talks about housing on BBC Today program and says nothing about stopping the destruction of high grade land being used for housing when the public are greatly concerned. Is he in an isolated housing bubble ?

“Kent new-builds being snapped up by buy-to-let investors and rented out for up to £2,100 a month” Never forget. We are building on farmland for property wealth investors 🤷‍♀️ Boris Johnson Sir Roger Gale kentonline.co.uk/faversham/news…

Destroying for ever herewith at Faversham grade 1 land for food when other low grade land not far away could be used instead. Sheer lunacy

Faversham at risk of catastrophic event on M2 J7 plus economic decline to town from traffic suffocation caused by these plans submitted by the Duchy of Cornwall promoted by HRH Prince William. It requires forensic scenario traffic modelling to head off such disasters & conflicts.

Option 1) If Duchy of Cornwall given approval to build on top grade food land other developers argue, then us also. Option 2) If Duchy NOT allowed to build on top grade land then ……….could that be better food security at last with thanks to the Royal household, not parliament!

Times newspaper reports Faversham in revolt against Duchy plans to destroy best food land. Should no longer be in the gift of HRH Prince William or any council to approve destruction but should be squarely with our government where responsibility rests for feeding the nation

Will the Duchy of Cornwall get into the Guinness Book of Records for having the highest number of objections to a housing development that’s clearly now been shown up as speculative. So why would it self harm? Very odd indeed.

The Duchy of Cornwall appear to be damaging The Crown & themselves by seeking to build on prime rare top grade fruit growing land in Faversham, Kent when they could achieve the opposite by choosing low grade reusable land. As a national institution, why?
