Women in Prison is a great charity with a big fund-raising project. Here is last night's panel on community solutions for women who commit minor offences. Chaired by the superb Polly Toynbee, with an expert by experience, a frontline campaigner & two fairly recognisable lawyers

"That is not true." DCC Becky Riggs, national policing lead on child protection and abuse investigations, rejects suggestions by Robert Jenrick MP that group based child sexual exploitation - i.e. grooming - is committed predominately by British Pakistani men. #Newsnight

CPS are piloting a viable way for serious sexual offence complainants to challenge a decision to drop their case. Looks like a good start.
