Overturning Roe and outlawing abortions will never make them go away. It only makes them more dangerous, especially for the poor + marginalized. People will die because of this decision. And we will never stop until abortion rights are restored in the United States of America.

The Biden administration should be greenlighting clinics to operate on federal lands. No, this doesn’t mean building abortion clinics in Yellowstone, it means allowing patients to be seen for service at pop-up clinics in places like Cuyahoga Valley National Park. 2/

Lol Brad troemel saying “disabled people are using desperate language and brow beating to get people to wear masks” why yes Brad we are desperate to not breathe covid and monkey pox air because we’d like to live and we can’t physically beat you into caring about our lives so…

“What can I do to support you?” has got to be the single most frustrating question ever right now because disabled people have been literally begging you to wear a mask for almost three years now. That is how you can support us. But you all are like “no I didn’t mean like that”.

I feel like I’m watching the world through a one-way mirror. I’m here, nobody can see me or hear me, but I’m watching as folks go about their silly little lives while there’s like imminent threat of doom, and I’m screaming it, but I’m just there… invisible to the world.

We do not talk about the mental health of disabled people enough. It is in crisis right now. Our families have discarded us, our friends have forgotten us, and the country as a whole would rather have us be dead. We are utterly abandoned. We are not okay.

When 2020 first began and lockdowns happened, people's mental health was at an all time low. Many couldn't handle it. Now, in 2023, many disabled people are still in lockdown because a lot of people refuse to take any sort of precautions whatsoever. What about our mental health?

My body is in so much pain. Not just today. Everyday. Every day of my life. Healthcare is so far out of reach for most of us. Because there are levels to medical treatment in this country we should just begin calling it Wealthcare©.

This is a reminder that disabled/high risk people are still locked in our homes because of those who refuse to mask or take any precautions. We can’t even go to the doctor without fear of catching COVID. When you go to a crowded restaurant, know you’re going at the expense of us.

"Masks recommended! Because we love our immunocompromised friends! (Look at me caring! In a mask!) But also feel free to just kill people, it's cool, you do you. Saying anything else would make me a cop ☺️ and that would be coercive. Now I am out of spoons! Boundaries!!"

It's never too late to change. You can still decide to start wearing a mask. COVID hasn't gone away, and in fact, is starting to get much worse again. It's never a bad thing to change your mind and start taking precautions. It could save your life and the lives of others.
