#LWP are sending a huge thnks to National Rail who swiftly responded to our plea for help re a baby #pigeon on their tracks, at Tusle Hill. Within a shockingly mere 15 mins, Clive Cook had ensured the tracks were safe & rescued baby Clive. Thank u for valuing his little life!!

Here is Carl the #woodpigeon He was very lucky to have been spotted huddled under a parked car, in the freezing cold rain, by a kind lady who was looking for her cat! The #LWP volunteer only had a scarf so she gave her a box and an umbrella to keep them dry! What a lucky #pigeon

A big shout out to the London Fire Brigade near Victoria Park, who quickly rescued Aysha the #pigeon who was entangled in carelessly fitted #netting, which is an all too common, cruel and avoidable problem that affects lots of #Wildlife Thanks to the #firefighters she will be okay!!

On Friday, we were called about a vulnerable #fledgling who had fallen from his nest onto a busy high street! It took three #LWP volunteers and two hours to find baby #pigeon Jacob! He was walking around next to a main road but luckily we got there in time! Isn’t he just so cute?

Jake is a very lucky #WoodPigeon He was hit by a car and left on the side of the road to die. Thankfully one of our volunteers found him and carefully picked him up and transported him to #LWP The next day he was walking, eating & should make a full recovery! #BeKindToEveryKind
