Good piece about the real people behind some of the protests against 20mph limits. I'm sure a lot of people really don't want them but it's being manipulated & driven by Tories in England with no connection to Wales - who support 20mph in their own area

The point I am making is not that many people arn't genuinely opposed to 20mph. Many are.

Just that it is clear that there is an orchestrated attempt by the Conservative Party to keep fanning these flames and it is often been carried out by people outside of Wales.

Though Mr Reed has seemingly dedicated significant energy opposing the 20mph limit in Wales, his opposition doesn’t seem to transfer to his home town.

He posed for this picture where he proudly announced he had arranged an “extension of the 20mph zone”.

So I have been having a little look at the people who run some of the Welsh anti-20mph Facebook groups.

It seems that many of them a run by Tory politicians.... who live in England....and support 20mph where they live....

With over 1.9million already waiting for any kind of mental health support in the UK, this is damaging and downright dangerous.

Thinking of everyone impacted and really hope the @conservatives rethink this approach.

The government say they want to help people with mental health problems get back into work. If so, they need to be serious about investing in chronically underfunded mental health services. And they need to meet with the experts. We await the full details of the consultation. 3/3

What an awesome sounding job! Reading the description reminded me of happy hours fiercely focused on maps when I was studying archaeology, and the incredible excitement when landscape clues suddenly click into place and you realise your essay is going to be brilliant 🙂
