Reading a paper you read two years ago, only to realize that part of the hardship is just that the argument is not there.

I just realized that my research this year suffers from severe ADHD: I've pursued seven different projects, and the ONLY connecting point between them is 'grammar'. Plus 'life' plus 'everything'.

I've been taking a weekly 4 hour immersion class in Tohono O'odham. What I've learned includes: 1. plural marking is difficult 2. so is constituent order 3. the left periphery is chaotic 4. elders keep roasting us, beginners 5. explicit tutoring works, but immersion is funnier
