Day 3 of Follow the Drinking Gourd Socratic Seminar. Today the kids collaborate and use research tools including digital text and the online dictionary to understand key vocabulary, interpret coded messages, and label a map for an Underground Railroad route. #CCSDigitalLearning

We said Goodbye to Dr. Savage on Thursday with a wave-off and best wishes. The kids will surely miss him and it touched my heart to see our whole school come together to wish him well. Bravo to student council for planning it all. ❤️ Best of luck Dr. Savage!!!

It's election Day at CGE! It was amazing watching students get the full voting experience with our school voting booths and parent poll volunteers! I loved watching the kids take their voting seriously and make real world connections through our student council election.
