The Year 8/9 Girls team moves to the next round of the County Cup with a 3-1 win against Newman. Dominant for most of the game, they fought back from an early Newman lead with a quick fire 3 goals in the second half. Well done girls. Player of the match was Grace

In Y9 rugby's 1st game of the year varying levels of experience saw the squad down at half time but able to apply more pressure 2nd half, taking it 14-7 with 2 tries scored by Basil & converted by Owen. Finished 41-14 to Stringer with lots of positives to take from the game!

A very closely fought battle against Patcham for the Y10 rugby team. At 12-7 the game could have gone either either way but with a solid defence we held on for the win. Man of the match goes to Sam D for his tireless work at the breakdown & numerous carries in the opponents 22

A tight & competitive first half against Hove Park before 2 late Varndean goals changed the game. Goals from Ollie, Ashton, Arlo & Ted gave the side their first win of the season. They move into the next round of the Brighton cup. Well done team!

Our Y10 DT students have been working super hard this term. In Food Tech they've been honing their pasta making skills with gnocchi - simply delicious! In Textiles they've been busy with the sewing machines on a manufacturing group project making eternally useful tote bags 👏👏👏

Climate champions! 7JHF & 8TGR have gone above & beyond, looking after their school environment with tree planting, pond work, extensive litter picking of their own accord & more. All were awarded the climate badge by Deputy Head Mr Hughes & Climate Lead Mr Speller 💚
