Ostapenko’s sole purpose is to torment Iga. The only two weeks she played good this year is Stuttgart and Doha. The rest of the time she has been a total non-factor.

The fact that this is a 500 & then you have Stuttgart where players who are ranked 25 are having to play qualifying. I’ve said it before, but 500 inflation is bad for the tour. Inflated rankings are no good. Also absurd that players are required to play 6 mandatory 500s a year.
