This breaks my heart. An ongoing human rights outrage, happening in plain sight, where women and girls are being treated worse than domestic pets. More has to be done to help these women.

“Just how insidiously this doctrine has invaded society was exposed by a survey of LGB workers by LGB Alliance and reported in the HR publication Personnel Today... 65% said they felt pressured to agree publicly with political beliefs they did not hold.” thetimes.com/article/c67fde…

We're surely at the point we need to get more familiar with who is running the institutions of Scotland and accountable for using their standing to do things like claim there are "1.1m intersex people in the UK"? museumsgalleriesscotland.org.uk/about-mgs/our-…

We’ve been here before Thomas Willett. I have never sought to prevent trans people from running parkrun. I HAVE sought to get fairness for females (& males in the age grade rankings) by having a female-only, female category. Why do you tell such brazen, disgusting lies?

You can find a pretty good* justification of why women and girls who have been subjected to sexual and domestic violence and abuse need women-only support services in my book Defending Women’s Places John Swinney The SNP Scottish Express * If I say so myself #DefendingWomensSpaces

They’ve done it again! A generation of girls will want to be them. Congratulations Lionesses! European champions! As Chloe Kelly says: ‘Every girl out there. You can do it. Keep shooting for the stars’ Well fought too Spain 🇪🇸 Women’s sport matters. Save Women’s Sport.

'Social transition' has a clear definition. It means everyone must treat a child as if they are a member of the opposite sex. Social transition is the opposite of accepting gender nonconformity. Socially transitioning a child is the extreme reinforcement of gender stereotypes.

A suffragette, a reformer and the first woman in Britain to qualify outright as a doctor (her mother had to use a roundabout route) Louisa Garrett Anderson, born OTD in 1873 in Aldeburgh, really should be Woman of the Day but you know the rules. It was a foregone conclusion

Well, having watched the last couple of days of the Peggie v NHS Fife tribunal, I have to say the word "witch hunt" feels more apt than ever. Grim tactics deployed by NHS Fife's counsel to try and undermine women's legal rights to female-only changing facilities at work.

Maya Forstater (@mforstater) 's Twitter Profile Photo

NHS Fife accuses Sandie Peggie of "faking menstrual flood" to confront Dr Upton. The absolute depths this organisation will stoop to. I'm surprised they didn't ask her to show the "contemporaneous record" of blood on her pants. How dare they. scottishdailyexpress.co.uk/news/politics/…

kate commonsense (@katecommonsense) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Maya Forstater Women should not have to suffer menorrhagia or Sexual assault to be able to have a female changing room in the workplace. JR shocked and terrified me.

Lewis Moonie (@lewis_moonie) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Maya Forstater Ms Russell has made it crystal clear that, in the absence of any justification for their client’s failure to follow the legal requirement for single sex facilities stipulated in the Workplace 1992 Regulations, all she has in the way of argument is this disgraceful charade.

Gethin Chamberlain (@newsandpics) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Maya Forstater Russell adopted a nasty, ugly, line of questioning that said much about the class of the two women. She sought to silence Peggie and to deny her right to single sex spaces by launching a character assassination. x.com/newsandpics/st…

Maya Forstater That's what rips my knitting, saying she, woman, was pretending to have a period but have absolutely no such suggestion that Upton is a man pretending to be a woman.

Again & again this has to be said. NO trans identifying person (usually males complaining because they’re losing their unfair advantage) is or has ever been banned from sport or the Olympics. They are expected to compete in a category that fits their sex, age or weight criteria.

Jill Foster (@journalistjill) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Surely the nadir of this case. We are meant to believe a man who says he is female, but not a female who says she was on her period.
